Dent Training

The student will graduate as an entry-level tradesman with a skill that will be applicable for a lifetime

With hands on instruction, student will learn paintless dent repair using traditional tool and glue pulling techniques. This 8 week course will cover basic dent repair theory, tools and usage, access issues, and lighting. The student will learn about the PDR industry, and its application in the automotive sector — both commercial and retail. The student will learn about the estimation products — matrices, programs, and software — available for the performance of his/her trade. The student will complete real world repairs in shop and field environments.

How to

Outcome:

Students will have the aptitude to perform PDR competently within an automobile dealership organization, as well as perform basic retail repairs to a high quality.

Instructor

John Dunn has been a paintless dent repair technician since 1992, first apprenticing with Fixx-A-Dent of Norcross, Georgia managing a dealership route, and later working for Dent Wizard working primarily with auctions and rental car companies. He founded Dingo’s Paintless Dent Repair of Georgia in 2002, servicing all sectors of the automotive PDR market, with time focusing primarily on retail clientele. A graduate of Georgia State University, John, a father and married to Diedre and resides in Snellville, Georgia. He is a retired veteran of the United States Coast Guard Reserve.
